At the 39th Sparkassen Teichel Run on October 7, 2018, participants started from the traditional Hafenstadion and made their way to Äppeldamm, continuing along the Torgauer ponds until reaching the Ratsforst. The route returned to the finish line via Melpitz and Biberhof. The 10 or 20-kilometer loop provided a good running surface and varied views of fields and through plenty of forest.
