The Stuttgart LebenSlauf is more than just a charity run – it is a strong symbol of solidarity, diversity, and social cohesion. The event, which takes place in downtown Stuttgart, brings hundreds of people together each year to make a statement against discrimination and in support of the rights of LSBTTIQ individuals. Participants can run 5 or 10 kilometers, and the routes are measured and flanked by friendly marshals. The proceeds from the run benefit AIDS-Hilfe Stuttgart e.V. and support important work in HIV/AIDS prevention.
Highlights
- The Stuttgart Life Run is a charity run in support of LSBTTIQ refugees.
- The event is seen as an active contribution to HIV/AIDS prevention and promotes awareness of HIV/AIDS in the population.
- This year, a third running group is being established: GenderQueer, to celebrate diversity and inclusion.
