Race description
The Straberger 1/3 Marathon takes place on September 4, 2026, in Dormagen and offers races over 5 kilometers and 14.065 kilometers. The course runs naturally past the Knechtsteden Monastery and through the forest, ideal for beginners, advanced, and ambitious runners. The event is characterized by samba and festive atmosphere in the town center and is also suitable as a test run for the Cologne Marathon. There are youth races for children with free running shirts and medals at the finish line.

Additional information
Children up to U8 receive a free running shirt and a medal at the finish line. Adults can order a breathable running shirt for 18 euros during registration and pick it up on the event day with their bib number. The youth races take place at Linden-Kirch-Platz in the town center with various lap lengths depending on age group. Parking is available nearby at Hubertus-Schützensaal and sports field.
