Race description
The Hanau City Run takes place on September 18, 2026, and is themed "Show Strength - Together Against Violence Towards Women." Approximately 3,500 people participate annually to make a statement against violence towards women. The event is well organized with race number distribution and race office at Hanau Town Hall.

Race office opens on race day at 2:00 PM in the town hall. Race number distribution begins at 2:00 PM. Luggage storage is available from 3:30 PM in the town hall. Changing facilities are limited. There are no shower facilities. Paid parking is available in surrounding parking garages. Mobile structures on the market square are only permitted for organizers. The race is an annual event with proceeds collected for women's shelters. Registration opens in June 2026. Over 3,500 participants are expected.
