The Hanau City Run contributes significantly each year to the urgently needed donations for the two women's shelters in the Main-Kinzig district. Under the motto "Show Strength – Together Against Violence Towards Women," runners have been taking to the six-kilometer course through downtown Hanau since 2001. This popular large event has already raised more than 325,000 euros for the women's shelters in Hanau and Wächtersbach, offering participants the opportunity to explore the picturesque streets of the city.
