On July 5, 2026, it’s time again: Ready, set, go for the legendary SportScheck RUN in the heart of the city. Since 1979, the event has been a fixed date on the running calendar – and this year, Ludwigstraße will once again transform into a RUN course with history. The start will be directly behind the Siegestor. Participants can choose between 5 km, 10 km, and a half marathon, with the routes leading through Munich's green oasis, the English Garden. Children aged 7 to 12 can participate in the Kids RUN, which consists of two 1-km laps.
Highlights
- The first 500 meters are for warming up – then it’s a right turn into Munich's green oasis: the English Garden.
- The 5K runners enjoy a little green break with highlights such as the Monopteros and the Chinese Tower.
- The half marathon runners experience the English Garden in its entirety – all the way to the ice canal and back.
