Race description
The New Year's Eve Run Schifferstadt is a traditional running event held annually on December 31st at the School and Sports Center on Neustückweg. The flat and fast courses run over asphalted and paved paths and feature a spectator-friendly finish in the stadium. In addition to the main race, there is also a mini run for children, accommodating the increasing number of participants. The event is approved by the German Athletics Association (DLV) and attracts runners of all ages.

Additional information
The finish area was adjusted in 2012 to relieve congestion in the stadium. The event is approved by the DLV. There is an participation option for children aged 2-5 years. Bib numbers are issued to all participants. The event takes place at the School and Sports Center on Neustückweg, registration begins in October 2025, including course maps and children's runs.
