The 59th Silberseelauf at the DLRG home in Langenhagen takes place on a cross-country circuit around the Silbersee (approximately 1,300m per lap). During the race, participants must complete a route of about 1.3 kilometers that includes three exhausting sandy sections, which they have to run multiple times. All runners from VT Rinteln started in the 2600-meter race.
