The "Rötzer Schwarzwihrberglauf" takes place under the motto "Sport without Borders" on one of the most beautiful sections of the "Goldsteig." There are different distances for toddlers, students, youth, and juniors, while a Nordic Walking route is also offered. The main race starts on paths and hiking trails along the Schwarzach, leading to the ascent to the castle, where a refreshment station is located before descending back to the finish at the sports field via Bauhof. The race is organized by the 1. FC Rötz – Ski Department in cooperation with the city of Rötz.
