On the Friday evening before the big Schwaigfeld Festival, the Schwaigfeld Citizens' Association (BüSch) invites you to the 8th Schwaigfeld Run, where almost 400 runners will participate. With ideal running weather featuring a light breeze and a pleasant 21 degrees Celsius, perfect conditions prevail for the event at Grünanger. The participants are almost evenly distributed across the four offered races, demonstrating how well the run has been received among all age groups. The courses are GPS-measured loops on developed gravel and asphalt paths with minimal elevation changes along the Amper.

Highlights

  • The first starting shot goes, as always, to the youngest: In the Bambini run (originally 650 m, this time charmingly shortened to about 500 m), all participants had a blast – finishing mattered more than the exact distance.
  • In the children's race over 1,500 meters, it became truly exciting, while in the final main race over 6,000 meters, the men and women battled for victory.
  • The course of all races will be run one to three times and features popular trail sections and small hills that make the run varied.
