The 15th Klingenthal Salzkotten Marathon took place on June 2, 2024, with 2,618 participants and 7 course records. The event supports the local community by donating 7,400 euros to various Salzkotten clubs. Organizer Sascha Wiczynski and Mayor Ulrich Berger emphasize the importance of the marathon, which, with the support of around 300 volunteers, has become a magnet for running enthusiasts. Preparations for the 16th Salzkotten Marathon on June 1, 2025, are already underway.
