The International City Run Saarburg, which was first held on July 6, 1991, captivates with one of the most attractive course layouts in the region through the picturesque town center. Around 800 participants from near and far come to the small town on the Saar to take part in this fast course, which concludes with the awards ceremony on the fruit market stage during the Saarburg Market Days. There are a variety of running distances for all age groups and fitness levels, including the SWT Bambini Run over 0.5 km, the GTBau Youth Run over 1.8 km, the ELATEC Company and Fun Run over 5.3 km, and the HILL Fitness Main Run over 10 km.
