Since 2006, the Sports Friends of Ennepetal, together with their partners, have been inviting all running, hiking, and walking enthusiasts annually to explore one of the most beautiful trails in our region: the Ennepetal Circular Trail. The event, which has been known as "Around Ennepetal" since 2023, takes place every year on the last Sunday in August. Look forward to a fantastic day that will inspire everyone – whether ambitious or not. The challenging route of a total of 60 km is divided into five different stages – each one more beautiful than the last.
Highlights
- The event is an outtake of the Schnadeweg Challenge and offers a course of 58 km with +1,450 m of elevation gain, which is run in a clockwise direction.
- There will only be one fully stocked aid station on the course at approximately 29 km, and participants will receive the GPX track about a week before the event.
- The last start time for stage 5 is at 6:00 PM, and participants who arrive later will be removed from the race.
