The Run for Fun 13.0 is an annual highlight of the ultrarunning scene in Northwest Germany, taking place around the Hollener See in Saterland. This year, it was a very hot day, and many runners chose to start in the morning to escape the heat. The support for participants was excellent, with water, snacks like gummy bears, and a vegan lentil soup. DJ Corinna provided rocking music and fulfilled the runners' requests, while physiotherapist Wilm Wempen was on hand to assist if needed.
Highlights
- It was once again a very hot day, and from the first lap on, the VP was utilized; there was plenty of water available.
- For the salt balance, salt was available for dipping boiled potatoes, cucumbers, or even bananas.
- DJ Corinna once again provided a rocking music atmosphere like last year and clearly enjoyed fulfilling the runners' requests.
