Race description
The Ra(h)ser Run is a flat race through the district of Rahser in Viersen, with distances ranging from 1 km to 10 km. The 5 km and 10 km courses are certified by the German Athletics Association (DLV) and eligible for rankings, mostly running along paved paths beside the Niers river banks. The event offers races for various age groups, including a toddler run for the youngest participants and a city championship for schools. Timing is done electronically with transponders embedded in the bibs. Registration is exclusively online, with late registrations possible up to 60 minutes before the start.

Additional information
Late registrations are accepted up to 60 minutes before the respective start for a fee of 5 €. The bibs include an integrated transponder for electronic timing, providing gross and net times. During the event, Sittarder Straße between Kränkelsweg and Oberrahserstraße will be closed to through traffic. Participants can purchase a race shirt until May 7th as part of the online registration. School and children’s runs, free training sessions at Stadion Hoher Busch, and race courses for various school levels are also offered.
