On a summer night, hundreds of torches illuminate the Prerow Bay during the Prerow Torch Run, which has been taking place since 2016. Participants can choose between two distances, the 5 km or the 10 km course, while numerous torches light the way. The start and finish point is at beach access 37, and runners must compete with lighting, creating a magical sight in the dark. Drummers and street musicians accompany the route, providing a special atmosphere. Children can participate in the Bambini Run over 500 m, which starts at 8:00 PM.
