Porta Volkslauf

The Porta-Volkslauf 2026 is a traditional running event in Porta Westfalica that has been a fixed part of the regional race calendar for over three decades. The event attracts runners of all ages, from ambitious competitors to casual runners. The course runs over streets and field paths around the Nammer sports field and through the Nammer Unterholz nature reserve, offering varied, flat sections with a magnificent panorama of the Porta. The race is part of the Mühlenkreisserie and takes place at the local sports facility in Nammen. The friendly atmosphere and sense of community make the day a special experience.

The race is part of the Mühlenkreisserie (8th race 2026). Course maps for short distance (5.5 km), medium (8.8 km), and long distance (17 km) are available as PDFs. Registration will open soon. The event takes place at the sports facility in Nammen (Poggenbeeke). The courses are flat and offer unobstructed views of nature. Registration and course maps will be available soon. There will be drinks, coffee, cake, and bratwurst at the start-finish area.
