On Sunday, July 13, 2025, the 2nd Nübel Marathon will take place. Set in the beautiful, hilly landscape of South Angeln with views of the Schleswig Cathedral, this route also passes through the training area "Langsee," which is normally closed to the public but will be opened for this running event. At this summer marathon, there will be plenty of sun and little shade, so participants are reminded to stay adequately hydrated. The course consists of approximately 50% forest, field, and hiking paths and 50% asphalt roads.
