Three weeks before the itdesign Nikolauslauf, the test run takes place. Test the original course together with other runners! The test run on the Nikolauslauf course is an opportunity to try out the distance of 21 km (half marathon) or 10 km. Those who cannot run the full distance should still aim for a minimum length of 16 km (for the half marathon) or 8 km (for 10 km). The test run is primarily intended to check your fitness and to acclimate your body to the long distance, without creating a competitive atmosphere.
