Under the motto "Sport & Culture in Worms," the 23rd Worms Nibelungen Run will take place on September 12/13, 2026. This running event offers a variety of activities at the newly created area along the Rhine River, in close proximity to the Hagen Memorial and Kriemhild's Rose Garden. Around 2,100 participants from 38 nations took part in the event in 2019, and since 2004, more than 44,000 participants have experienced the Nibelungen Run. Whether beginner or professional, everyone who crosses the finish line is a winner.
Highlights
- The Nibelungenlauf is offered as a half marathon for runners and a 10 km race for runners and walkers. Additionally, there is a women's race, a race for those over 60, and a student race, each covering a distance of 5 kilometers.
