The 25th Volksbank Run "Around Lake Offlumer" will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025, and is organized by the SuS 09 Neuenkirchen Running Club. The course runs around Lake Offlumer and is defined according to the measurement protocol from April 27, 2018. The start and finish are located at the sports center on Haarweg. The event offers a diverse supporting program and attracts numerous athletes, as evidenced by the nearly 400 participants last year.
Highlights
- With 452 pre-registrations and ultimately 387 starters, there was almost a new participant record.
- The supporting program offered a lot of variety with live music, the Stralsund drummers, Clown Hollino, and a puppeteer.
- For the children, there was a bouncy castle as well as ice cream, bratwurst, and fish sandwiches – there was something for everyone.
