The 35th Neandertal Run will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Bessemer Straße in Erkrath-Hochdahl. The 5 km fun run offers younger and older amateur athletes the opportunity to test themselves. The challenging yet scenic routes for Nordic walking and walking (10 km) as well as for the Neandertal Run (half marathon) lead through attractive sections of the Neandertal. There are various distances for different age groups, including 900 m for children U6 and U8, 1800 m for children U10, and 14,064 m for the main race.
