On Saturday, August 23, the northern route of the Star Run made another stop in Altenberge – under the well-known motto: "We help lives." The northern route of the charity run led, as in every year, from Rheine to the sports hall on Horstmarer Landweg in Münster, with the aim of raising donations for the Children's Cancer Aid Münster e.V. The TuS Altenberge 09 e.V. supported the event with a support vehicle that accompanied the runners on the final stretch from Altenberge to Münster (approximately 19 km) and provided them with water and snacks. At the finish line in Münster, cold drinks and the traditional runner's bratwurst awaited the participants, while a donation check for €27,690 was presented to the Children's Cancer Aid.
