On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the nationwide Day of Running took place for the fourth consecutive time at Stubengassenplatz in Münster, where the 1KOMMA5° Urban Run was launched. This event, which originally started as a test run with 300 participants, quickly reached the maximum number of 1,000 runners. A unique feature of the Urban Run is the course, which also passes through several buildings in the city. The approximately 5-kilometer city center loop was conducted as a purely fun run without timing, accompanied by music and dance.
