Every year on May 1st, the MoritzBergLauf takes place in the beautiful Nürnberger Land. The challenge is to conquer approximately 365 meters of elevation gain over a distance of 10 km. The running route traverses gravel paths, natural forest ground, and paved hiking trails, with the goal being the summit of Moritzberg, the highest elevation in Middle Franconia. Participants include both professional runners and hobby runners, and at the finish line, there are always homemade cakes and a loud "Hop, Hop, Hop!" The MoritzBergLauf is a challenge that definitely belongs in your running repertoire.
