The 4th MidSummerRun for the summer solstice took place on June 27, 2025, in the beautiful Alstertal, kicked off by Bundesliga referee Patrick Ittrich. Participants had the choice between 5 km and 10 km, while children could test their endurance on a 999-meter course. Organized by the Lauftreff Alstertal e.V. in accordance with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, the event demonstrates that running events can be conducted in a resource-efficient manner, for example through wooden medals and strict waste separation. Additionally, 50 cents from each registration will go to the organization "NORDLICHT E.V." for youth violence prevention.
