The airship race starts on the apron of Essen/Mülheim Airport and takes you directly onto the wide runway. Where airplanes usually taxi, you’ll find a flat, fast course with no tight turns or elevation changes – perfect conditions for personal bests or a unique running experience. A special highlight is the finish line in the impressive WDL airship hangar, whose magnificent architecture provides a spectacular conclusion to an unforgettable race.
