The airship run starts on the apron of Essen/Mülheim Airport and takes you directly onto the wide runway. Where airplanes usually taxi, you will find a flat, fast course without tight turns or elevation changes – perfect conditions for personal bests or a unique running experience. This event is open to everyone: sports enthusiasts, (hobby) runners, families & children, teenagers, etc., who are interested in a special run in an extraordinary location. The airship run will take place on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, and offers a total of 1000 starting spots.
