Traditionally, at the beginning of November, a regional cross-country run takes place on the most beautiful local fitness trail with the race in Wildenloh, west of Oldenburg. The name is quaint (“Lop dwasch dörn Wildenloh,” which means “Run across the Wildenloh”) and the event itself is also rustic (held in the woods without showers). The running course is located in the forest area of "Wildenloh," near the Wildenloh forest house on Friedrichsfehner Straße.
