The 7th Lengerich Ultratrail will take place on New Year's Day, January 1, 2026, in Lengerich. The course consists of a 23 km loop with approximately 480 meters of elevation gain, which will be run twice. The route takes you through the Tecklenburger Land, across various paths, meadows, trails, and hiking routes, including the Hexenpfad, offering diverse landscapes, past rocks and through Tecklenburg, including asphalt within the towns. The event has a time limit of 9 hours and features self-supply with an unmanned aid station at around km 12 of the loop.
Highlights
- The start takes place at the foot of the 60-meter-high Gempt chimney, making both the start and finish clearly visible from afar.
- The route passes by the Jones Garden to a canyon, an abandoned quarry lake, whose water is turquoise blue in the sunshine.
- On the Witch's Path, there are steep climbs and impressive views, including the silhouette of Münster in good visibility.
