The Leipzig 100-km Run, also known as the "Leipziger 100 km Lauf am Auensee," is an ultramarathon that has been held in Leipzig every August since 1990. It is organized by the Laufclub Auensee e. V. Leipzig and also includes a popular and road race over 50 km. Both competitions take place on a 10-km loop course measured according to IAAF guidelines in the Leipzig Auenwald, with 70% of the route on paved forest and park paths and 30% on asphalt. The course is officially classified as a road race and is notably flat, with only 15 meters of elevation per lap.
