The routes of the 47th LEIPZIG MARATHON meet national and international standards, making them eligible for rankings, records, and qualifications. The marathon and half-marathon courses, under the motto "On Foot Through Leipzig," pass many of the city's landmarks, starting at the "Red Bull Arena" and the "Quarterback Arena." The course offers an impressive view of the Monument to the Battle of the Nations and concludes on one of the longest and most atmospheric finishing straights in Germany, lined with thousands of spectators.
