The land between the North and Baltic Seas is diverse and thus unique like no other federal state. Equally unique is the run between the seas, where participants explore the land between the seas – from Husum to Damp – as a team and traverse it in running segments. A run that not only connects the coasts of the North and Baltic Seas but also the people of this region. The run starts in Husum (Schiffbrücke) and covers 95.1 kilometers in 10 segments until the finish in the Baltic Sea resort of Damp.
Highlights
- In the Run Between the Seas, alongside individual performance, the collective performance of the 800 teams with up to ten athletes from both recreational and elite sports is also important.
- The fastest relay teams take about 5 hours and 10 minutes to cover the 95.1-kilometer distance and reach the finish line around 2:15 PM.
