On May 4, 2025, the starting signal was given for the 26th Spring Run in Freital. As in previous years, the walkers and Nordic walkers opened the event, followed by the Bambinis, who were rewarded with gold medals and goodie bags for their participation. The main race over 2 kilometers started at 10:00 AM, and Paul Knorr secured the victory. In addition to the classic distances of 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km, walking and Nordic walking are also offered, making the run accessible to a wide audience.
Highlights
- The event attracted numerous prominent guests who cheered on the participants and some even took part in the distances of 5 or 10 km themselves.
- Lennox Gyulai dominated the 5-kilometer race with a strong time of 15:46 minutes, narrowly missing the course record.
- In the corporate run, sponsored by Škoda Automobile Freital, teams of three runners competed for a unique trophy that was manufactured in Freital.
