On January 24, 2026, the Kyffhäuser Mountain Running Club invites you to the 7th Kyffhäuser Relay Race at the Kyffhäuser Castle Courtyard near Bad Frankenhausen. This winter team race offers a sporting challenge, team spirit, and a unique nature experience on demanding forest trails. A relay team consists of four runners (participants from the U16 age group), who will tackle a 7.7 km course with approximately 380 meters of elevation gain through the wintery Kyffhäuser landscape. The event is limited to 50 teams and provides medals for all finishers as well as professional timing.
