The 27th VR-Bank Mitte Kurstadtlauf will take place on September 5, 2026, in Heilbad Heiligenstadt and offers various running distances from 400 m to 19 km. The event promotes environmental protection by planting a tree for reforestation for each participant. The event starts with the distribution of race numbers from 8:30 AM and concludes with an awards ceremony for the overall winners of the 5 km and 10 km races. Spectators are warmly welcome, and after the competition, there will be a relaxing cool down at the outdoor pool.
Highlights
