The Kreuzwertheim landscape runs will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, and offer three different distances for runners aged 7 and up. Run I, "Run into the Kingdom of Heaven," starts at 9:00 AM over 14 km with about 300 meters of elevation gain through a nature reserve and the vineyards. Run II, the "Run around the Kaffelstein," begins at 9:10 AM and covers 7 km with gentle inclines and views of the Main Valley. The student run III, "Around the Shooting Forest," for children and teenagers aged 7 to 15, starts at 9:15 AM and takes place over 2.2 km in a hilly forest run.

Highlights

  • The run I "Run into the Kingdom of Heaven" offers a challenging loop through a nature reserve and the vineyards with two refreshment stations.
  • In the run II "Run around the Kaffelstein," participants aged 16 and older can enjoy the 7 km course with gentle inclines and no downhill sections after the start.
  • The student race III "Around the Schützenwald" for kids and teens will award a "Golden Running Shoe" to the winner and "Silver Running Shoes" to all other participants.
