The Kranlauf Offenbach takes place every year on the Day of German Unity, October 3rd, at the blue harbor crane in Offenbach am Main. All proceeds go to the AIDS support organization in Offenbach — "Every Drop of Charity!" There are two runs: the Charity AIDS Walk over 1.3 km and the Hobby Crane Run over 2.6 km, as well as the 5-mile Crane Run. The Kranlauf festival serves a good purpose and helps secure the offerings of the association, standing in solidarity with those affected in difficult life situations.
