The Königsforst Marathon is organized by the TVR running team and has been held in the spring since 1973 in the Königsforst in Bensberg/Bergisch Gladbach near Cologne. The course consists of 85% forest paths and leads to the 'Monte Troodelöh' as well as to the water treading station, and it is measured by the DLV and eligible for rankings. The event provides a safe environment with safety cyclists and numerous marshals, presenting a challenge for both beginners and experienced runners.
