Kölner Nikolauslauf

The Cologne Nikolaus Run is a traditional popular race taking place on December 6, 2026, for the 29th time. The event offers three different races: the ambitious TopLauf over 10 km, the FunLauf with variable distances from 3.4 km to 10 km for all running enthusiasts, and the KidsLauf for children with a distance of 3.4 km. The races lead through the beautiful Cologne city forest on a certified circular course measured by the German Athletics Association (DLV) and create a pre-Christmas, sporty atmosphere for the whole family. The event is organized by the athletics team of the German Sports University Cologne and emphasizes community and fun in running.

Start times: TopLauf 10:00 AM, KidsLauf 11:30 AM, FunLauf 11:35 AM. FunLauf participants can choose between 3.4 km, 6.7 km, or 10 km. Preferred start number for an additional fee of €3.00. Late registration on-site possible with an extra charge of €5.00. For each sold Santa hat, €1 will be donated to the Lindenthaler Animal Park. Race bibs include B-tags for timing.
