On Sunday, August 14, 2022, the Karben City Run took place for the 31st time after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. The event features an attractive new course of nearly 5.3 km, which runs on well-maintained, mostly asphalted, and largely flat surfaces. The route leads along bodies of water, fields, meadows, built-up areas, and roads, and is secured by personnel in some sections. Due to COVID-19, participants are asked to maintain distance in the start/finish area; changing and shower facilities are not available, but restrooms are provided.

Highlights

  • A complete lap of the new course measures just under 5.3 km (from start to finish).
  • The event takes place in any weather.
  • A total of 6 different running distances are offered, ranging from 300 m to 21.1 km.
