The 42nd International Kandel Mountain Run will take place on May 2, 2026, in Waldkirch and appeals to both experienced mountain runners and hobby runners who would like to tackle "a few" elevation meters. The mountain run has a distance of 12.2 km and features an elevation gain of 940 meters from Waldkirch to Kandel. The route primarily follows the paved Kandel access road and is considered moderately difficult, making it an ideal race for beginners. We look forward to welcoming many mountain running enthusiasts as part of the Black Forest Mountain Running Cup 2026.
