The Marathon Club Menden is holding its traditional event, the Josef Kaderhandt Forest Run, in its 39th edition in 2023, as usual. Runners of the 20 KM forest run have the option, depending on their performance and desire, to participate in the 20 KM Plus classifications, up to an ultramarathon of over 50 KM. After completing at least three laps (20 KM classification), the runners can decide whether they want to run additional laps, which allows them to enter the classifications of 26.5 KM, 33 KM, 39.5 KM, 46 KM, and 50 KM. The cutoff time for all classifications is after 6 hours of running.
