The Jesteburger Volkslauf combines the picturesque, rolling landscape with the town center of Jesteburg. The long course leads to Rahberg, along the Seeve to the town center of Jesteburg and back. This "base" course is a 5 km loop, where participants can choose when registering whether they want to run 1 or 2 laps. Additionally, walking is offered over a distance of 10 km, and young runners can compete in distances of 400 m, 800 m, and 2.3 km. For the 36th edition, around 400 athletes of all ages are expected.
