The IRT Running Meeting is held every year at the beginning of October on the grounds of the Industrial Park Region Trier (IRT). Various disciplines are offered on super flat, super fast, personal best-suitable, and officially measured DLV courses, including the 10 km Sparkasse Trier Main Race, the 5 km Open Race, as well as races for children and Nordic walking enthusiasts. Particularly noteworthy are the 10 km Rheinland-Pfalz Championship and the 5 km Rheinland-Pfalz Championship for MJU/WJU 16. The next IRT Running Meeting will take place on October 5, 2025.
