Ibbenbürener Aaseelauf 2026

The Ibbenbüren Aasee Run is a traditional race event taking place in 2026 for the 41st time. The event offers races for children of preschool and elementary school age, as well as a 5 km open run, a 5 km team run, and a 10 km main race for ambitious and recreational runners. The course runs around Lake Aasee with start and finish at the Ost stadium in Ibbenbüren. The event is limited to 1,000 participants and is characterized by a family-friendly atmosphere and good catering along the route.

Late registrations are possible on the day of the event from 3:00 PM until 1 hour before the respective race start for a fee of €2.50. Changes to registration are also possible on the event day for a fee. €1 from each registration is donated to a charitable organization. Free parking is available at Ost stadium. Race documents are issued on the event day from 3:00 PM. Timing is done with transponders on the back of the bib number. Registration is only online, with limited starting places. Participation fee starts at €2.50 for late registrations. Support for charitable projects is possible.
