On May 25, 2024, the 3rd HoWUT (HochWaldUltraTrail) will take place in the Osburger Hochwald. This is a pure charity run! The race features three beautiful dream loops of the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig. Three different distances are offered: 24 km with approximately 680 m of elevation gain, 45 km with approximately 1100 m of elevation gain, and 68 km with approximately 1900 m of elevation gain.
