Just before the summer holidays, it's that time again: on Sunday, June 15, 2025, the city center of Kaiserslautern will be all about the Hornbach City Run. Around 1,000 runners, young and old, will race over the 1 km loop in the pedestrian zone, completing it once or multiple times depending on their age group. The competitions include distances ranging from 450 meters to 5 km, including a popular 450-meter course for kindergarten children. Every pre-registered participant will receive a T-shirt featuring the run's logo as well as a medal upon crossing the finish line.
