The Holtenauer Lighthouse Run in Kiel is a unique 5 km turnaround race with a maritime character. The route leads from the stadium at the Hochbrücke along the Nord-Ostsee Canal, through Europe’s northernmost plane tree avenue, past the locks and historic buildings, to the Kiel Fjord and back around the hill of the Holtenauer Lighthouse. This race takes place as part of the 30th road race "Around the Holtenauer Lighthouse" on August 29, 2025.
