The 5th Hoitlinger Ackermann Run will take place on June 2, 2024, in Hoitlingen and will lead runners through an extensive forest area historically connected to the Ackermann family. In addition to the main race of ten kilometers, there will also be a Bambini run (600 m) and a children's run (2 km). The event promises not only exciting competitions but also a great atmosphere with cheerleaders and a cake buffet for spectators.
Highlights
- In warm conditions, 19 runners from VfB started at the 4th Hoitlinger Ackermann Run, making up the largest participant field.
- In the finish area, the cheerleaders from Jembke loudly encouraged the runners in the final meters, providing an extra boost of motivation.
- New at VfB Fallersleben was Kathrin Nickel, who secured 2nd place in the overall women's ranking and 1st place in the W45 age category with her first race.
