The Heumaden Volkslauf has been held annually in July since 2009 in the Stuttgart district of Heumaden and is organized by TSV Heumaden. Runners can challenge themselves on two distances of 5.5 km and 10.3 km, as well as a half marathon of 21 km. The course is a long and relatively flat loop with only a few inclines, leading through Heumaden, Riedenberg, and Kemnat. The start and finish are located at the sports facility Untere Hasenwedel in Heumaden, and there is a water station for the runners' refreshment halfway through the course.
